Have you been searching for a how to store your headbands post? Well, here it is!
Headbands are one of those accessories that are just SO hard to organize and keep in a handy place. I wear a headband almost everyday and they typically end up in a tangled mess on the counter because I haven't figured out the best way to store them yet. UNTIL NOW!
This DIY Headband Storage changed the game. I have tried many different ways to store my headbands but this one is by far the best I have found. Hanging them individually on clothespins not only keeps them from sitting in a tangled mess, it also allows quick and visible access when I am in a hurry.
If you're on a budget, this project is perfect for you. I'm sure you already have scissors lying around the house and an available cabinet somewhere convenient that you can use. All you need to buy is clothespins, poster Command Strips and maybe some more headbands!
First, you will want to cut each Command Strip in half so that you can hide it discretely behind the clothespin. Then, you just need to sick the strip onto the back of your clothespin (black and white side facing up). These are already spray painted gold from a previous project but you can either leave them plain or paint them a color to match your own decor.
Apply the strips to as many clothespins as you'd like and simply stick them to the inside of your cabinet door. As you can see, I only really had room for five so I'll probably end up doing the same thing on the opposite cabinet door.
Simply hang one headband from each clothespin. If you have more headbands, hook them loosely over the top of the clothespins to create a top layer.
That's it! This super cheap and easy DIY headband storage project will leave you feeling organized and will also streamline your morning routine. You can also utilize this space for necklaces, hair ties and other hanging items.
